About TEACHERs

Ling Li & Shoupeng Wang, both members of the China Applied Arts Association, studied in the Academy of Arts and Design in Tsinghua University and China Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute.  Since the Sunny Art School was founded, the two have won the Outstanding National Educator title four times in a row because their students’ work was selected for national honors.

Ling Li  Professor and artist. She was teaching in the School of Art of Anhui Normal University from 1986-2011, was awarded “National Art Education Advanced Individual" title in 2000. Li Ling designed and produced the fourth International Geneva Invention Expo "Human Health Care Prize " trophy and her Large stone carving "New Century" was displayed at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing permanently.

Shoupeng Wang  Professor and artist. He dedicated in art and art education for more than 40 years, has sketch, oil painting, and sculpture works that have been selected for exhibition in China and abroad multiple times.  His works of art have won many awards, with some of them being collected.  In 1993, Shoupeng Wang’s large wood carving "Fairview Jianghuai" was displayed at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing permanently. In 2010, his oil painting "No Wind" won the “ International Artist Magazine Art Challenge” Excellence Award in the United States.

Yihua    Graphic designer who has a Master degree (MA) from SCAD in 2016, and a bachelor degree in visual communication art major from University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST), China. With 10 years drawing experience, she is also a professional photographer who has 4 years’ working experiences with studio shooting.

Lana    Junior student of Maryland Institute College of Art. Her art work won the National Silver Medal at National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and the Gold Medals (2 pieces)  in the State Scholastic Art & Writing Awards in 2013. Her sketch won the First place at Georgia District of Kiwanis Int in 2012.
